"The complaint filed by the Latin American Coalition, the Muslim American Society of Charlotte and the Vietnamese Coalition of Charlotte, requests an investigation into why North Carolina does not provide interpreters in the state’s civil court system."

OP, try taking an 8th grade civics class and maybe you will understand why their complaint is valid.

I am not complaining. I just posted.
But there is truth in the article.

FWIW, I think it's crap.
And I smoked my 8th grade civics class too.

That pesky Constitution, always getting in the way of keeping those dang minorities in line.

Whatever shall we do?

We certainly can't let them have equal access to the legal system. Think about how uppity they would get!

It would be nice if we could get back to being proud Americans, but that won't ever happen unless we pass a law allowing us to sell libbies into slavery.
Lol

Immigrants should bear then entire cost of providing their OWN translator if they refuse to learn the language. Now you wonder why we need English as the offical language.

They do have equal access. No one said they are guaranteed to understand what is being said once they get inside. That is why people hire lawyers when they don't understand the "language" of a legal form.

In before the "indoctrinated by public schools" comments.

That article really gives both sides of the story.
