Immigrants should bear then entire cost of providing their OWN translator if they refuse to learn the language. Now you wonder why we need English as the offical language.

We certainly can't let them have equal access to the legal system. Think about how uppity they would get!
They do have equal access. No one said they are guaranteed to understand what is being said once they get inside. That is why people hire lawyers when they don't understand the "language" of a legal form.
