LOL..I'm enjoying conservatives taking a victory lap at a commentator actually getting disciplined as he should. I guess this serves as a distraction from the recent faillings of actual republican politicians..Enjoy, I guess.

What failings? Not knowing what year it is or perhaps the inability to give a simple toast?

I haven't heard anybody talking about this except on this thread. It's a non-story except for conservatives looking for an elusive "win".

Anything like this is always a non-story to left leaners. Didn't you know that?

No matter what you think of Ingraham, Ed Schultz was out of line with his comments.

I've seen him a few times and he seems to have a tendency towards getting a bit carried away.

He deserves the suspension.

Agreed. And he appears to recognize that, by his on-air apology and acknowledgement of responsibility.

It seems to me that the same people on this thread who are getting their panties in a wad over Ed's crude name-calling are the same ones who were defending Laura S. when she used the 'N' word over and over again on her show. How about showing some consistency? It's either acceptable for both sides of the political spectrum or it's unacceptable for all. I vote for the latter.
