We understand that the right-wing is on a fact-free diet but according to Nielsen TV Ratings Data, the Ed Show on May 24, 2011 (before the suspension) rated 1,026,000 viewers.
I've heard the same word used on family tv programs between teenagers. I've heard it used on talk shows. It has become part of everyday language much as the word "ass". I don't condone this, I simply am trying to say that many words that would never have been uttered on tv years ago are now used freely.
