Republican Paul Ryan and the House of Representatives are looking to end VA healthcare for over 1.3 million veterans who are Priority 7 & 8. These veterans are the least disabled veterans using the system, usually with disability ratings of 0 percent or no service-connected disability. According to the Congressional Budget Office “Option 35,” the cuts would leave 130,000 veterans with no healthcare alternative. This means veterans with conditions not recognized by the VA, like certain diseases from Agent Orange exposure, would have to pay for healthcare out of pocket if they had not other service connected disability.
I'm not sure why or how they are recieving any treatment if they are 0% and not service connected?

You must be 0% service connected to recieve treatment and that must be for your disability....nothing else....you cannot go in with a cold....and expect to be....

the first question asked when you walk in a VA is "are you service connected or do you have insurance"

This is, perhaps, an example of... government bureaucrats knowing what is best?

The Republicans started 2 wars, all by themselves? Thanks for telling us that and of course the Democrats have done everything in their power to end these 2 wars the Republicans started? Is that how you see it?

Engaging in war is more than driving a car where you can apply brakes and stop.

Boy, this is what I hate about the net: I just don't believe anything I read anymore; Cut and paste, copy and paste, whatever? We can make any story into anything we want.

Did you retire from the military or were you in less years than someone who served say, 20, 25 or whatever?

A billion can be a big number to wrap one's head around. If you had a billion dollars in $1000 bills, the stack would weigh 2,200 pounds!
