Rush Limbaugh says he is going to make a big announcement tomorrow and it's not what anybody is thinking. Well, I don't know what everybody is thinking. No clue.
What do you think it is?
My guess: He's going to take over Glenn Beck's time slot on Fox News.
I love Beck but I love Rush, too. Wouldn't it be something to have Rush Limbaugh on TV before the 2012 election?
I'd say a TV/Cable gig as a political pundit - not on Fox......maybe MSNBC?
Oh, we got it OK. It's just that if a conservative ragged on any prominent heterosexual liberal and called him gay--just in jest, of course--all the gays and gay supporters on this forum would be on us like stink on s**t.
Again, it's the liberal double standard in action.
but...but...that circular reasoning isnt applied to Palin's offspring....a kid knocked up out of wedlock and she preaches abstinence
i will give palin a pass in that at least her kids arent oxycontin addicts...I dont think.............
No insult to homosexuals or homosexuality. The joke exists in the absurdity, the discordance, or surprise factor, of such a thing being revealed because it goes against all expectations for the person in question.
If some KKK member said he had a secret to reveal, and people joked "it must be that his mom was black" that isn't implying that being black is an insult. Is this too difficult to understand?
A revelation that Rush is gay would turn the world of many of his followers upside-down. The thought of that is what's funny.
Actually I can buy that. But I don't think that's what most here meant. (Of course they'll chime in now and say so.)

Kinda like when Ann Coulter used the "F" word against John 'The Breck Girl' Edwards. Excellent point.
Yes, that could be it but why not just tell us that today? What would one more day mean? I made my guess that he might be taking over Beck's show because 1) Beck is leaving in 13 days and we still don't know who will get that time slot and 2) making an announcement on a particular day/date seems to me like the announcement has to conform to some schedule or contract.
For those who said he's running for office, that's not it. I believe he was asked about that point blank today.
Whatever it is, we can expect another thread about it 5 minutes after the announcement is made.

A 'kid knocked up out of wedlock' has probably learned the hard lessons that inspire her to encourage others not to make the same mistake. Kinda like a lung cancer patient lecturing kids not to smoke or an ex addict lecturing kids to avoid drugs. That's not hypocrisy.
