Ten House members led by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) are filing a complaint in federal court against President Obama for taking military action in Libya without first seeking congressional approval.
It's about time somebody did something about this runaway POTUS and led by a Democrat.

That's what I was hoping for. They have standing but the Courts may be reluctant to intervene in what is a Congressional political decision since in the War Powers Act is not part of the Constitution. They may just conclude that since Congress already has the power to stop Obama, why are you trying to get the SCOTUS involved because of the unwillingness your colleagues to enforce your own law?

Maybe the SCOTUS will comment on unconstitutional actions and laws and "resolutions".

Good. I rarely agree with Kucinich but he is right on this.
Obama is behaving as though he is accountable to no one. He is neither a King nor Dictator no matter how much he wishes it. Time to put a martingal on this out of control CiC and rein him in.
I love how hypocritical Republicans are about Libya. If Obama was a Repub, they would be applauding and cheering.

You got it quite wrong, if Obama were Bush, he would be punished, on the media, condeming his actions, making the headline etc. Obama gets many free passes from the media, and you know it!
We are not living in the past but in the now like the present, stop living in a fairytale, Obama is not a bright and shining armor, quite the contrary he is living his own fairtytale. His fairytale of a new era of HOPE AND CHANGE was a lot more then he originally thought!
Not the same thing at all here.

.... and the media would be following every word of Cindy Sheehan.

The real Republican problem is with Obama's response to Libya. Not whether it was "legal" or not. Clearly, they bent the "legalities" of going to Iraq into pretzels themselves.
After years of rubber-stamping a failed leader as he bumbled two failed wars and dropped the ball on bringing Osama bin Laden to justice they just cannot stand the fact that another leader may have better ideas in another country where the people have already risen against a despot. I guess it must disturb them that the new President is not willing to risk thousands of American lives and treasure for years in a bottomless pit to bring change. Giving rebels trying to shake a despot what they asked for and not forcing American troops upon them.
