Eccentric treasure hunter Bill Warren intends to find the body of Osama Bin Laden in the North Arabian Sea using sonar and a remotely operated vehicle. If he finds the remains, he'll photograph them to confirm Bin Laden's death to the world. Can you find a human body in the ocean using sonar?

Well duh, currents would have taken his bodies likely hundreds of miles away from the location it was dropped.

It took how long to find the Titanic? And they knew exactly at which latitude and longitude it went down.

That was an entire ocean liner, and they want to find a body?

Sounds like one expensive endeavor...he may as well scoop up all of the fish and crustaceans in a hundred mile radius and begin DNA testing their poop...

I thought the reports were that Bin Laden's body was dumped in the Black Sea, not "the ocean". Of course when the body is not found then the whole thing really never happened, right? It will become the greatest hunt for a body since that idiot and walking mustache Jeraldo thought he found Hoffa's burial vault on live TV....and didn't.

Well, around shipwrecks, you see shoes space out from the ship. Treated leather survives seawater and isn't eaten by sea creatures. They used to have bodies attached to them. The flesh was quickly eaten by scavangers and the bones broken down by the ocean. Was her barefoot when they dumped him into the water? If so give it time and all he'll be is bits of organic matter inside the creatures of the sea.

I believe he has one hek of a hunt to find this body, if he ever could, which i am doubtful anyone will. Just don't think they are going to find this body, at least in one piece.

Let alone the obvious which is that fish would have been eating off of his body and its most likely gone by now.
