Meh, when it comes to gun laws, I see it as six one way, half a dozen the other. Dangerous places will stay dangerous, safe places will stay safe, one way or the other.
On the other hand, there is real problem with impulsive suicides by gun, and that does tend to relate to gun laws, since it's usually law-abiding people who do that sort of thing.
And with the new anti-second amendment administration in Chicago, don't look for it to change anytime soon.
Sadly those radicals call the shots for much of what goes in the state.

if someone is wanting to commit suicide, the lack of a gun will not stop them. in fact many people go to the grand canyon every year just to jump over the side to kill themselves. you argument is a fail.
