I personally was against all those bailouts back in 2008.
Well that's an interesting point... to what extent will you go to oppose people who were in favor of the bailouts, though?

For instance, House Majority Leader John Boehner gave an impassioned speech back in 2008 on the importance of approving the first bailout bill.

But he was overwhelmingly re-elected by his constituents.

And think of all the new House members who claimed to be against the bailouts... then turned around and voted for Boehner to become the majority leader!

In my experience, most people who claim that they were "against the bailouts" vote in a way that suggests otherwise - either they vote for people who were in favor of the bailouts, or they vote for people who support others who did vote for the bailouts.

Hence, they perpetuate the same old system that produced the bailouts in the first place, despite whining about it regardless.

If you don't... you'd be one of the principled few.

I must confess, i've been unable to open the link in the OP. Are we talking strictly private corporations or does it also include publicly held ones?

Your asking for links, but yet you say...I've seen this...and cannot provide a link.....so you expect us to believe you?

Hell, I've seen Korean children working for very little....but I cannot prove it..I've seen Korean children working in the rice fields, but cannot prove it....

What I'm trying you to get through your head....you are saying something VERY relative to this conversation.....and expect us to believe you......but you cannot....

Well, I don't really give a rat's ass if you believe me. I was questioing a poster who alleged minimum wage jobs ARE NOT sent overseas, whether you believe me or not has no bearing on the request for proogf of that allegation.
