What a leader we have. It's more important to his administration to support their Sequester alarms than to do the right thing.

The Obama administration denied an appeal for flexibility in lessening the sequester’s effects, with an email this week appearing to show officials in Washington that because they already had promised the cuts would be devastating, they now have to follow through on that.
In the email sent Monday by Charles Brown, an official with the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Brown asked “if there was any latitude” in how to spread the sequester cuts across the region to lessen the impacts on fish inspections.

He said he was discouraged by officials in Washington, who gave him this reply: “We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”“This email confirms what many Americans have suspected: The Obama administration is doing everything they can to make sure their worst predictions come true and to maximize the pain of the Sequester cuts for political gain,” said Rep. Tim Griffin, Arkansas Republican.

They could cut federal pay across the board by 2% and make up more than the sequester took away.

so they want these cuts to be as mean and cruel and devastating as possible, just so they can punish America for not letting 0bama raise taxes on the rich,,,, again. These people are truly despicable.

The GOP is trying to get the debt and spending under control, and they are all alone on this. The senate and 0bama say, the people be damned, they just want to rush as fast as possible to $20 trillion in debt as they can.

You hate the republicans for trying to get spending under control? What the **** do you think happens when the interest rates go back up to normal, and we spend $700 billion or more a year just to service the 0bama debt?

When will the democrats like you start caring about the country again? When will the welfare of the nation be of more concern to you folks then your petty partisan politics?

Gee it's funny that Congress doesn't know what to cut yet the WH is telling all the agencies exactly what to cut.
Find services that have a direct effect on Americans and CUT.

So, you admit that it is the REPUBLICANS who wanted, prayed for, and got the Sequester? This is their way of 'getting the debt and spending under control'?

Republicans OWN this sequester.
