After reading this thread, I will now take note that many of our left-leaning posters are in favor of turning away the poor when they seek medical care.

Or that teabaggers love government problems and have no problem sucking on the public teet.
"While Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., has forcefully denounced the Medicaid program for swelling the "welfare rolls," the mental health clinic run by her husband has been collecting annual Medicaid payments totaling over $137,000 for the treatment of patients since 2005, according to new figures obtained by NBC News."
"The previously unreported payments are on top of the $24,000 in federal and state funds that Bachmann & Associates, the clinic founded by Marcus Bachmann, a clinical therapist, received in recent years under a state grant to train its employees, state records show. The figures were provided to NBC News in response to a Freedom of Information request."
Yeah, um...I think we can safely attribute plenty of Ron Paul's viewpoints to Bachmann.
And you know it.
Nope, what I do know is you can no more attribute Paul's beliefs to Bachmann than you can attribute Bachmann's views to her husband (something you agreed with in an earlier post).

Government out of my Medicare!!
"Sucking on the public teat?" Get real. Medicaid reimbursements don't come close to covering the actual cost of treatment. The clinic probably would have been better off not treating these people at all, which is clearly what you'd rather see happen. So just admit you hate the poor and don't want them to receive medical care and be done with it.

By law doctors BY LAW have to take medicade before any insurance that is available. Even though it pays pennies on the dollar.
Part of the reason our insurance policies are so high by the way.
Bachmann's husband BY LAW had no choice in accepting that as payment.
No doctor has to accept medicaid patients. We hear you RWs all the time telling us how doctors are dropping Medicaid, no one accepts it, charity is better, blah, blah. Go on, continue to defend these two frauds.

They just make up whatever, these people. Serious alternate reality syndrome.

I'm for universal health care, are you?
Not that it matters, this thread isn't about me or you, it's about hypocrite Bachman. Slam a program, only to participate in it.
