Take along a camera so you can record the millions that will be eating hot dogs and enjoying the day without participating in any celebrations. Good luck!
On July 5 you can send your recorded evidence of umpatroitic behavior to the office of UnAmerican Activities.
Could you post the address of that office?

I thought whatyousay was being serious and tried the old rep move but wasn't allowed to do so.

I really don't think many of the socialist leaders of the left leaners' club will want to celebrate anything like Independence Day once they take over.

Default Harvard: July 4th Parades Are Right-Wing

"Democratic political candidates can skip this weekend's July 4th parades. A new Harvard University study finds that July 4th parades energize only Republicans, turn kids into Republicans, and help to boost the GOP turnout of adults on Election Day.........

Turns kids into Republicans????

How do these pointy-headed kooks come up with this sort of stuff?

........"There is no evidence of an increased likelihood of identifying as a Democrat, indicating that Fourth of July shifts preferences to the right rather than increasing political polarization....."

It's understandable to me. Republicans have done a much better job in recent years of equating their party with patriotism. Even though most Americans don't have a favorable view of either party, I think they still look at the GOP as the party of traditional American values.

I see it the other way around...Democrats have done a better job of convincing American's that they aren't the party of traditional American values. That only leaves the upside....of which the GOP can easily lay claim without much effort.

Democrats/Liberals have always relished being anti-American with their "Free Love For All, No Matter The Cost, No Matter The Consequence" ideology. Therefore, they own their particular juxtoposition outside of patriotic circles.

Fourth of July celebrations in Republican dominated counties may thus be more politically biased events that socialize children into Republicans," write Harvard Kennedy School Assistant Professor David Yanagizawa-Drott and Bocconi University Assistant Professor Andreas Madestam.
I have never ever seen a July 4th celebration that was politically biased, more then anything it is a day where the majority of people unite to celebrate the 4th. I live in a small town {Paul country} and what I see is families sitting on chairs and blankets, eating and drinking, socializing, and watching fire works. I have never ever seen party signs or partisan hacks working the crowd. If my life depended on it I would not be able to point to a person and know for sure what party they belong too. All I see is Americans celebrating the 4th, this is about the dumbest study that I have read about.

Please don't tell me they got a federal research grant for this.

A 4th of July parade is a traditional way to celebrate the holiday. If libs keep painting our traditions as evil, they are going to lose the police and firefighters, too.
