Nice work.

Man arrested for boarding with false ID, day-old boarding pass

Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi, a Nigerian-born man who was found with the stolen ID and up to 10 old boarding passes containing various names, was arrested Wednesday after attempting to board a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta; five days after passing through layers of airport security at New York's JFK airport to board a plane with a day-old boarding pass.

...
"Noibi claimed he was able to go through passenger screening by obtaining a seat pass and displaying his University of Michigan identification and a police report that his passport had been stolen."

If he was wearing a diaper and in a wheelchair they would have caught him within 5 minutes.

He got past quite a number of people before getting on the plane itself. And each one didn't really read what he handed them..did they ?

Feel safe ?

Yeah and we can't catch illegal aliens at the border either, this one flew on a jet and they still couldn't catch him.

This madness happened at JFK of all airports ... glad to know they're on top of things at LAX.

What did he do in Los Angeles for 5 days?

I think I heard something on the radio about him claiming to be a "christian missionary" from Michigan...

That's his "cover" - Sounds to me like he's workin' for the Ninjas.

Commercial air security needs to be left to the people that have to most to gain or lose by its being effective or ineffective - the airlines. With only the occasional exception, the federal government screws up everything it touches. We need the profit motive to be driving this issue, not politics.

The profit motive is driving the issue. That is why the airlines don't do it and then people will demand that someone do something.

[guess who that someone is]

Remember when it was the airline personnel who checked boarding passes? Of course the TSA-holes don't give a damn if someone's cheating the airlines out of ticket sales. Get rid of these goons. The airline personnel would've caught this early on and nipped it in the bud.
