I'm afraid you're right. Sadly, voting for the lesser of 2 evils will result in more of the same abysmal leadership we've suffered under for the past couple decades.
People need to wake up and vote for honest candidates with a history of supporting the ideals they espouse during their campaigns. Blindly loyal partisan voting will ultimately be the death of this nation.
Right now all we have is the lesser of 2 evils with all the {R} candidates {except Paul} or Obama. If Paul does not win the nomination I will vote 3rd party, I refuse to vote for the lesser of 2 evils. Being on the winning team is unimportant to me but doing the right thing and being principled is.
Romney is GOP's best candidate but I am afraid that, by the time the primaries/caucuses are over, he will have been dragged so much into the mud and stuff that it's going to be an easy Obama win.
So, the Koch brothers don't like Romney ehh. It's probably because Romney's got his own money. Don't for one second think that the tea party morons decided to do this on their own. They're just Koch puppets.
The Kochs are not Tea Party. They donated to the opponent of Mr Tea party of the Senate Rand Paul. Of course anyone who actually follows politics knows this.
Who says Mitt will have a bad message? I am sure he has all the {R} talking points memorized. Think about it, Mitt will claim he is for smaller gvt, state rights, lower taxes etc etc ad nausem. And it works every time so why would Mitt change the game now? McCain used the same {R} rhetoric in 08, but supported cap and trade and amnesty and still won the nomination.
I do not think common sense is part of the equation when it is all said and done the {R}s will sell their soul and support the lesser of 2 evils and vote for Romney.
McCain is yet another Democrate wearing a repub suit. He admitted his anti gun stance long ago, and to me that puts him off the list.
I don't know Mitt's stance, but I suspect he is anti gun as well. In any case i won't vote for him on a bet. I don't care for poly tics from Mass or NY. If Mitt wants my vote he's gonna have to buy me one hellova nice rifle, and place it in mmy hands personally calling it a gift.
I'm seeing the strategy (candidates go after Obama, organized groups go after other candidates) but I'm not sure I like it. If, in the next debate, they don't start emphasizing their differences with each other on experience and positions, it will be my last debate. Sometimes I think they are all running for Vice President, afraid to ruin their chances for the Number 2 spot.
Good to see that they're trying to prevent Romney's pick. Of course, if they don't endorse Ron Paul, then the group is just another neo-con funded group promoting more neo-con candidates that secretly hate the Bill of Rights, love war, and hate freedom
They took over the Tea Party. Once Palin got on their bus all was lost.
The question is who is that they do want to run?
