Gifford herself is a 2nd amendment supporter and is promoting sensible gun regulation.

LOL..anti-gun is an adjective describing her new "violence group" ?

Should be anti-gun anti-violence group.
Being an "anti-gun" violence group might get her on a DHS list somewhere.

I'm anti-violence, too. That's why I'm NOT anti-gun.

Who cares about what she thinks, anyway? Does she even think?

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to mock her injuries -- the same way 2A types have been mocking James Brady, who like Giffords got shot in the head and is consequently not quite as sharp as he used to be, for the past 30 years.

Stay classy.

Well glad to see she has somewhat recovered from her injuries and I support her right to lobby for what she believes in.

She'd better watch her step though and not try to tackle gun violence by any means other than gun control.....or she will find herself under the same bus that's parked on Cindy Sheehan.

I just don't like it when victims become advocates and use their victimhood to push politics.

Can you really blame her?

Do you also believe that all those African Americans back during the civil rights era shouldn't have been using their victimhood to push politics either?

Why shouldn't a victim get a seat at the table? The have the perspective of personal experience that should be part of the political process.

For example, where would this country be without victims of racial abuse taking a stand during the civil rights movement?
