Yesterday, a thread was started criticizing Rush Limbaugh's comments on Casey Anthony and abortion. I personally didnt see anything wrong with Rush Limbaugh said. Clearly, it really got to some of you liberals because you believe he was "politicizing".
Now, I expect the same "outrage" over Bill Maher's comments:
“If you can look at a crime where everything points to one answer and not see it, you’re a dumbass. And if you can look at the deficit and not see that the problem is that the rich stopped paying taxes, you’re a Republican.”
“Yes, Republican base, you are just like that jury. It is pathetically clear who’s killing the middle class, but you keep letting them get away with murder.”
Some how I dont think Ill see the same "outrage". Gee, I wonder why......
I personally am not outraged by him politicizing this either, I just think he's a far left idiot most of the time who gets pass after pass for some of the things he's said on his show.

That's really not about Casey Anthony at all. So what did Limbaugh say?
I'm surprised they haven't politicized the weather yet or floods and fires.
Im ok with politicizing things to a degree. It's just going to happen and itll never stop.
So I dont usually have a big problem with it, it usually depends on the content and how its being politicized.
In this case, sure he can say it and I could care less. What I will take issue with is that he's completely wrong, clueless, and the analogy just doesnt work. But give the tool a point for trying I suppose.
He just says those things to get ratings. If he likes and understands what Ron Paul says and he's said he'd vote for him, he knows that the sole cause of the deficit is not that the rich stopped paying taxes. Rather it is that the Government is spending too much and the Federal Reserve is giving away too much credit to rich elites who don't even have to pay it back.... and he's putting the responsibility of paying it back on all the taxpayers. Granted the Fortune 50 companies don't pay taxes and they make Billions in profits. So the big (rich) companies don't pay taxes (if that is what he means).

I agree, comparing abortion to the murder of a 2 year old child is a stupid analogy and factually incorrect, considering the source I'm hardly surprised. Bill maher's statement is pretty stupid also.

Never heard of Katrina....weather? Or the Missouri floods? Or how Texas never takes any federal monie! Except when its to pay for all their fires (but that doesn't count)?
We can politicize anything in this country, be serious.

All you could hear was blah, blather, blah, blather, blah blather, blah blaterh, and blather, blah coming out of the mouth of a big fat drug addled idiot!~......or maybe I didn't even bother to listen...hmmmm
