Why do they keep lying and not post what he said, I doubt if the SS etc payments would have stopped, I guess the other side had lots of phone calls and emails, tweets or whatever.

I'm tired of listening to baby boomers cry about no social security. SS was meant for those american adults who worked their butts off to get this country out of the depression era. He actually said without deal on the debt ceilling we might not have the money to make payments. He can't and isn't threatning to withhold anything.

We have the money to make those payments. So he is threatening to withhold those payments, but making the choice to pay everyone else first.
