.....on the 47% who pay ZERO income taxes.

That would be fair. EVERYONE should pay taxes. Everyone should have skin in the game. They would think differently about things then. There would be a lot fewer votes for democrats for sure.

Well, you don't need to raise taxes to get them to pay. Just close out the credits (EIC, child credits, etc) that allow their taxes to go away and give them money back.

THEN....while you are at it, close out all those loopholes that reduce taxes for people who make good money so that THEY pay their share and then you're talkin'!

The 47% earn less than 33k a year... although I understand your sentiments on "skin in the game"...

That's fine. They won't be paying all that much because the same percentage rate on them results in lower taxes than on someone making millions or billions. But at least they will be paying, as they should.

The fair tax is another great way to go. That way the illegals pay as well.
