Unbelievable!!! If I have a gun pointed at my head and was told to choose between the Twin Towers and the NYT building, I would have let the guy shoot me rather than be forced into become part of mass murders at either building. That's what a real Christian would do.
I am not a Christian and any decision I would make would be based on my own ethics. And BTW, I did not say what my decision would be.
Frankly, I think Coulter is an a** to make a joke about these killings, period. Yet, it's what we've come to expect from her. She seems to have a problem with "boundaries".
What joke did Ann Coulter make about the killings? Really, I'd like to know. Show me a link to this "joke".
And sorry to tell you but my opinion of media coverage of this was already jelled before Ann Coulter weighed in on it. I wish the Twin Towers had not been brought down at all but if I absolutely had to choose, with a gun pointed at my head, between the Twin Towers and the NYT building, well.....that one is a no brainer.

Most people would see you first point otherwise, but just to clarify, what would your choice be?---mass killings at the Twin Towers or mass murders at the NYT building? That was the only two choices given in your post.

Not when you live a life full of sins. Stupid wars, killing innocent people, playing God (Death penalty), every second marriage is divorced, being greedy, not caring about others, worshipping TV, being obnoxious and mean...not Jesus like at all. I have yet to see a real Christian in this forum.
Maybe you are right but there seem to be more atheists popping up than I had pegged before.

The title of her article. Isn't it hilarious? In fact, I believe you were one of the ones who told us it was humor. Hmm, I see you also used the word "wit". Ann thinks it's funny to joke about these killings. Maybe she's a sociopath, too.

Uh, excuse me? I know this is not the religion forum, but do not make blanket statements like that.
Hey, Kat, I have been busy and not on here but did you see my 5 or 6 headlines from the al Times that day? I put them on so late last night and didn't get a chance to check.
Actually, it was important for the New York Times to point out that the killer is a Christian extremist fundamentalist because so many people in the media (especially Fox news) had early on speculated that the murders and bombing were the work of Muslim terrorists.
Pelosi, Pelosi, Pelosi, Pelosi.
Do you really think they pulled that trick to get even with Fox News? Gawd, I hope not.
That is the whole point. People say the shooter could have not been a Christian because what he has done is not what Christians should do.
But then 99% of the so-called Christians should not call themselves Christians because they don't act like Jesus as well. Where is the line?
Can you be a Christian when you kill someone? Apparently not.
But can you support a government that kills innocent people and still be considered a Christian? Can you be openly racist and/or anti-Muslim meaning hating other people and still be a Christian?
Can you be supportive of the death penalty when the Bible says you shouldn't?
Many would say yes, and this is what I find hypocritical.
Have you not seen that Breivik called himself a Christian atheist and a Christian agnostic? Right there in his writings he said exactly that. How many atheists do you think are Christians? I don't know even one of those.

So correcting a false rumor going around is now classified at "getting even" now? And what the heck does Pelosi have to do with this thread or my post?

The thrust of Ann's article, which I saw for the first time after it was posted here, was about the New York Times and their slanted reporting. No, I am not the one who said it was "humor". That was someone else. I said "one person's wit and humor is another person's horrified reaction and both sides do it". I found her article to be witty but I wouldn't call it "humor". The barbs she lobs were not about the Norway massacre; they were directed toward the New York Times and their coverage of the event. She did not make light of the murders.
