Oh, brother. The country's economy is on the brink of collapse and you're complaining about your TV shows being interrupted? What were you planning to watch? Beavis and Butthead?
First, the country is not on the brink of collapse.
Second, the president's speech will have zero impact on the future of this country.
So yes, people should go ahead and watch Beavis and Butthead. At least it would be entertaining.
You don't really believe that do you? By the way, it would be $400 trillion over 120 years..... wow!
There will be NO REDUCTION in spending. I'll be a large sum of money that spending over the next five years will all be more than the current year regardless of what bozo and congress agree to.
Yeah, why would a sitting president communicate with the population about the biggest issue facing the country. I mean, that's just crazy. No sitting President ever does that.
Nation of whiners.
Yet, you don't care that the sitting president and his party failed to pass a budget in 2010.
Again Obama needs to address the Nation and we wil not be able to watch the show we had planned to watch.
<snip>
...........isn't it better for him to stay of the tv and sit in a meeting with both parties instead of his redoric.
So record it. My brother-in-law worked for a TV station; says this is a common complaint when news interrupts "regularly scheduled programming", especially soap operas.
