Good Lord, man! Grow a pair! Stand up to those thugs and call their hand. MAKE them shut down the government if that's what it takes! Right now, this nation DEMANDS leadership and you're just not offering it.

Don't wimp out on us again. We didn't elect you to kiss the GOP's hind-end, but to LEAD!

Whadda ya think? Will it do any good?

Naw, it won't.
The problem is the house has passed a budget the Dems refused it. The house passed deficit reduction plan, the dems said no. It on Obama and the dems.

I couldn't agree more. The President has caved, given in, and let a small part of the Republican congress (half of one third of our government) do whatever they want.

I will not be voting for him, and if Democrats hope to win my vote for President, they need to put someone else up for election.

I'll likely be voting third party or independent.

That's essentially a vote for Obama.

How is 4 trillion in budget cuts "on dems"? Republicans backed away from it because they couldn't stomach one trillion in revenue increases.

Whats my choice for Republican?

Bat crap crazy, hypocritical Bachmann?

Flip flop, politician, liar Romney?

Josh Brolin, W wannabe Perry?

Republicans would have to have a social liberal, fiscal conservative, and that'll never happen in the next 10 years.

When I hear "pro life", "I don't believe in evolution", and "A debt default is ok", I instantly wouldn't vote for that idiot.

Heres my opinion, you are part ofthe problem, instead of trying to bring the parties together to solve the problems our government has caused You seperate the parties even further with posts like this. Our government will never work for the people because of attitudes like this.

I agree with you. I just don't see any 3rd party candidates that would steal votes from Obama, whom you clearly feel has violated our trust.

Regardless, if we get a 3rd party candidate in there, you think the current gridlock will be eased? You're sh***ing yourself.

The Dem's rejected two options to get deficit reduction and debt limit increases. They would not even bring it to the senate for debate. Their they could have voted to amend cut cap balance or the budget . They would not even allow debate and amendments when they control the senate. The president dared to e republican to call his bluff. mre president you already said it was a bluff yoru called

Bloomberg was a registered Republican, and is a fiscal conservative, who is socially liberal. He can take votes from both candidates.

Because there were no revenue increases.

Republicans rejected more than just two plans, repeatedly.

Both sides are guilty, but 3 trillion in cuts, and 1 trillion in revenue increases was a fair deal, and Republicans walked away from it. It would have helped to fix our budget issues for 10 years, but oh no, their way or the highway.
