No way to vote with such a poorly constructed poll. Not enough choices and neither of the two choices cover all of the reasons. Learn to construct an objective and complete poll please instead of drawing it up based on your preconceived conclusions.

Look no further than Boston Scientific. Obamacare slapped medical device manufacturers with a 2.5% tax. They are laying off 1,400 workers here and hiring 1000 in China.

Because they make 3 cents an hour and because taxes, regulations, and wages in Amerika are ridiculous. And a gazillion other reasons that the U.S. is not business friendly. I personally don't understand why ANY businesses that can afford to don't leave the U.S.

Default Conservatives: What are the reason why so many jobs are shipped overseas?

Lousy grammar? Poor sentence structure? Incoherent thought patterns?

You forgot to ad protectionist tariffs into the mix. That's the REAL reason. It should hurt businesses to ship jobs overseas. They should get a tax penalty for moving jobs. They should then employee Americans in whichever State has the lowest taxes......

Between taxes and a mess of regulations to lengthy to go into, coupled with unions pushing wages out of proportion to the jobs and making it almost impossible to keep control of workers outsourcing starts to loom pretty good to certain businesses.
The recent stings on union auto workers drinking and toking on the job makes a strong case against unionized workforces.....seems that a days work.for a days pay has been displaced by a total entitlement mindset that could care less about true work.ethics and honest pride in the Made in USA label.

Unions.

Nafta.

The global economy...which makes it nearly impossible for a business to compete with the union shackles tied around their necks.

Uh, you do realize that Americans cannot afford American products right? If we closed our borders through high tariffs we would not be able to afford anything. We like, and fill our lives with all of the goodies made by people who work for a bag of rice a month. Imagine if you had to pay union wages for clothes. We would all be walking around naked.

I hear what you are saying, but back in the 60s and 70s when we did have a high proportion of unions and almost everything was made in the USA, our standard of living seemed higher. If we keep on the path of race to the bottom, this will end badly for middle class Americans. Who wants to live on a dollar an hour. If we have to pay first world bills, we need first world wages. Chinese wages won't pay my mortgage and car payment.
