How so? The situations are similar for both presidents - deep recessions. Yet for some reason, obama's is not a "normal" recovery by any measurement.
That 'reason' (far beyond your comprehension) is that this is not a 'normal' recession. Its not simply a market cycle on the down then to recover - there are multiple things all happening from housing, the stock market, spending, debt etc
Its not a democrat or republican problem (they are all to blame) and the solution is not a purely conservative or liberal one.
So no the situations are not the same. Not in the slightest.
Everyone knows McConnell wants Obama to be a 1 term president, but that didnt answer the question.. Thats like proclaiming Democrats are responsible for the economic collapse because they didnt want Bush re-elected
