There was a time when our leaders in the executive branch were talking about August 3 as the deadline day. Actually there was plenty of money in existence in the Treasury to have gone several days longer. Congress people could have read the illegally arrived at bill with a few more days, kind of like what had been promised to us.

My Congressman has the linked graph of what could have been done on his website as well as right here on this link. I want him on the Super Congress since he voted against the illegally dreamed up bill and has voted against many other things that the Dems have tried to fool him and the others with. Look at this article and especially the graph to see how they were taken advantage of by the lying Geithner.

Could today have been the deadline as easily as yesterday? « Hot Air

“I’d have been willing to spend more time to get a better deal,” Huelskamp said in a phone interview this morning. “Most of our conference thought there was a default impending. If they had known the truth, they might have been more willing to stand for Cut, Cap and Balance. We would have gotten a much better deal if we had challenged the administration’s numbers and forced Tim Geithner to be honest about this.”

Huelskamp said he hopes his site will highlight and confirm “the attempt of this administration to mislead on the default issue.”

Why did Huelskamp vote against the illegal bill. There is the reason just above this in red. Too bad not enough Republicans had the guts to stand up to Geithner and Obama.
