.......announced today that it uncovered documents from the Colorado Department of State showing that ACORN and its affiliate, Project Vote, successfully pressured Colorado officials to implement new policies for increasing the registration of public assistance recipients during the 2008 and 2010 election seasons. Following the policy changes, the percentage of invalid voter registration forms from Colorado public assistance agencies was four times the national average. Perhaps a right-winger who can discern voter registration fraud from voter fraud? One dares to dream...

It amazes me that this is going on with little to no repercussion to the perpetrators. These people need to be incarcerated.

You're right, voter registration fraud and potential voter fraud basically have NOTHING to do with each other.

Well, at least you are confirming that it is the left that is trying to perpetrate the fraud.

If they're so inextricably linked, I'm sure you can point to evidence of actual voter fraud skyrocketing as well.

This happens when warm bodies are PAID to turn in completed forms, ESPECIALLY when the payments are based on the number of forms turned in.

This attracts a lot of shady characters who would rather scam the payment (by turning in fraudulent forms) than actually doing honest work to earn the money.

Back in the '90s I worked on a project to challenge the nominating petitions of a Detroit judicial candidate and we found a lot of fraudulent signatures, some of which were OBVIOUSLY fake (including the entire active roster of the Tigers that year) and were submitted to get paid more money. Some of the circulators were actually charged but I never heard the outcome.

(Added) We had some great custom software which matched the driver license file with the petition names we typed in. On the fraudulent forms, almost all the addresses were bad, but the people paying the circulators had no way to know that. So the fraudulent signatures were generally obvious to US but not to the people paying the circulators. The circulators made up mostly plausible names and addresses that looked real - plausible street numbers and real street names - but Detroit has so many vacant lots that very few street numbers actually exist.

Do you support voter ID legislation that requires photo ID for all Americans who vote? If not then you're part of the problem like a lot of left wing nut jobs who will fight anything that would actually give us a way to track and eliminate voter fraud in our elections.

You can't ask for proof of something and fight against anything that would give us a way to produce that proof at the same time. It's pretty much impossible to detect voter fraud right now because we don't have secure elections.

So, no evidence?

What happened, i read a post about this a couple months ago, when a poster claims, this stuff was not going on, it was in our heads, oh really?

And there just going to get away with this.
