Here is a chance to see what kind of activity unions are pushing in Wisconsin to try to get enough Senators in the recalls to make it possible for the Democrats to remain in the capitol when things get too tough for them. One would think that something as simple as making the annual opening declaration for the state fair, the 160th fair, wouldn't bring this kind of union activity. I guess the unions have demonstrated that politics must be inserted into everything the governor does.

Here's the thing... only a very small minority of WI taxpayers are public employees. What on earth makes those public employees think the majority of WI taxpayers want to do without necessities and be forced to pay much higher tax bills to foot the bill for public employees' MUCH BETTER pensions and benefits than they get themselves?
The public employee union greed is stunningly sickening. What a bunch of entitlement mentality whiners!
The crowd "Quieted down for the color guard presenting the flag and the pledge of allegiance" sums up the entire situation. The people of Wisconsin and across the country are standing strong behind liberty and against corporatist fascism. Enjoy your few moments Walker, your pink slip is coming

Oh noooo, look at all those people that snuck out from behind those trees. Wouldn't see that in Texas, there aren't any trees.

Only if he is term-limited. The governor remains very popular there and a handful of government union parasites won't change that no matter how loudly they yell. The ide aof having pensions in the 21st century is crazy. Most people realize that you can't continue to pay people who don't work. That is why the private secotr has moved on to individual retirement accounts. It allows responsible people to save for their retirment. Of course these big crybabies are just showing that they can't handle the responsibility. Why should we have people working in government that are to ostupid to be able to save for and plan their own retirement? Shouldn't we demand better from the people we employ?
