Guess the Al Qaeda rebels we support ain't so tuff afterall!

"
The fact is, the Libyan people never voted for these rebels and many do not support them. If the people of Libya were actually behind these self-declared rulers, how could they assemble such a massive pro-Gaddafi demonstration in the Libyan capital of Tripoli?

To put it in perspective, what if during a period of intense civil unrest in the United States a group of a few elites declared themselves the sole representatives of our entire nation?

Then, to make matters worse, much of the international community steps behind them, providing financial and lethal aid?

As if the situation couldn’t get any more ridiculous, then international community would then start bombing the legitimate leader along with civilians in areas that support the actual government."

As Libyan rebels are falling apart at the seams, Gaddafi regime remains unfazed by NATO campaign - BlackListedNews.com

Yeah..but we did. We support them and we're doing their bombing from the air.
We don't need to ask the people that live there if that is what they want.
We KNOW what other countries want and we'll just go in and do it for them..right ?

It was a pure invasion.
Libya threatened no country nor did they strike any country.
The US (via NATO) proactively invaded Libya and without Congressional approval. An illegal war if ever there was one.

Even if I don't like Qadaffi because he's a socialist dictator, I gotta hand it to him clobbering NATO. Well, that's what tends to happen when you don't have the local population on your side. If Qadaffi does not win, I can imagine it's gonna be another Iraq or Afghanistan 10 year war.
