This gutless pissant of a President, when a member of the IL Senate voted "Present" almost 150 time. Most legislators never find the need to absent themselves from casting a meaninful ballot in their entire career, but this pissant did so well over 100 tmes in less than a full term.
How pathetic can one politician get? And his absolute inabliity to "take ownership" of his role in that body has carried over to his grotesquely-pathetic "non-performance" as POTUS.
Obama is an abject disgrace to America, our form of government, and, yes, even the Democrat party for whom disgrace is SOP.

Not really. It wasn't great - but it wasn't this either.
Obama has been a negative to this point. He has not made America better.
I do think that the exceptional depth of the housing and economic meltdown has taken some time to play out. Obama did not start it, and he has been the recipient of a historic recession/depression, which is not easily turned around. He has also had to contend with an absolutely terrible congress, who care more about cramming their views down our throats than governing. Both have been huge, historic obstacles. For instance, I firmly believe the credit rating downgrade was a direct rebuke of the Tea Party tactics.
That said, your last sentence is what he will have to counter to get reelected. Well put.
If you can't admit that all politicians - dems and repubs - are to blame by there self-serving actions then you are ignorant.
I usually don't respond to name-calling on an anonymous forum but I said nothing about who was responsible for the AAA credit rating. My comment was simply that Obama inherited it.
With all his blame games, Obama is the worse of the self-serving politicians I have seen in my plus 40 years of voting.

Total BS. Obama had Pelosi and Reid leading both houses of Congress for 2 years of his term. Obama was STILL a crappy president, even when his party was in total control of Congress.
