I am very disappointed by Mr. West, am man I thought was better than this. ALong with Bachmann, he voted to extend the Patriot Act as well.

Neo-con

He is for the USA being the world's Police force, off the backs of the taxpayer and at no cost to any other nation.

Trump was right about that, little nugget.

Hahaha! So much for the fighters of freedom and liberty. If West's views are consistent with the Tea Party, they're warmongers. Aren't these the same people who want massive spending cuts and brutal austerity measures. Wars don't reduce debt.

West's views are consistent with West's views. Appealing as the opportunity to bash an entire political philosophy based on the views of one individual may be that bashing is in no way justified.

Had you cited the views of West as an example that some of those that claimed to embrace the philosophies of the TEA Party fail to uphold their professed values I'd have been in full agreement with your claims.

The TEA Party has sadly been corrupted by mainstream Republicans that claimed TEA Party values without truly embracing them to gain political office. That sad fact does little to diminish the intent and value of the TEA Party. It does however speak volumes to the level of deceit politicians are willing to use in order to be elected to office.

As are most politicians regardless of their party affiliation.

Politics is the deception of many for the benefit of few.
