GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann said today that Americans "fear the rise of the Soviet Union" during an appearance on a conservative radio talk show.
The Soviet Union broke up into 15 separate republics 20 years ago. Boris Yeltsin was the first freely elected leader of Russia, the largest of those republics.
I'm more concerned that Obama thought the US had 57 states! When did the US pick up extra states? Who did we get the land from? Did we have a war to get these extra states? Are we funding these extra states?
The rise of communism is a serious possibility but it's not from Russia, but from China. The greedy corporations offshoring of our much needed jobs and the republicans all too happy to block any bill to stop it. The right taking out loan after loan from the communist nation to fund their outrageous spending and handouts,.. These actions are leading to make the communist nation into the worlds next superpower.

I am concerned that Bachmann has some supporters hoping to help her become President. They could be helping Perry, errr.. , how about Cain, errr.. , how about Huntsman? Naw, he is way too sane. At least Bachmann knows where Elvis has been hiding.
The Soviet Union can be reborn. The kernel of it never died. True, under a different name, but her sentiments are appropriate. If you don't have concerns about Putin et al, you central nervous system has failed you grossly.
She does have her finger on the pulse of America. All mainstream media, whether it's printed or digital, is abuzz with Americans concerned about Russia taking over the foot long corn dog booths at our State and County Fairs.
We are GUARANTEED a consistent stream of gaffes and faux pas for as long as Michele Bachman is on the campaign trail.
