The why do we even have to pass bills like this one? Why are muslims up in arms about it? Following the laws of this country and what it was founded on aren't good enough. Ridiculous. You don't like the laws then move back home where you can beat your women and kill your daughters.

That's what I want to know. What's all the uproar about if there was no Sharia law in the U.S. trying to creep its way into our legal system?

The ACLU and CAIR have been acting like this a very long time. Anyone with half a brain could see that lefties supporting what they say about these laws are really wiliing to support the establishment of Sharia in our system.

Do you recall the Dutch beginning to fight back against Sharia about a month ago. It seems that when something like that happens these two groups come in swinging both fists. It is tie to shove those fists up the place where the sun doesn't shine of the leaders of those two groups and the states are getting started because the Congress won't.

Just who is advocating that we infuse Islamic law into our judicial system?

Just watch. Sharia is probably a diversion so some other foreign law can worm it's way in...

You don't. It's stupid.

Ignorance of he law, just like people who worry about muslims being up in arms about it.

I agree, passing laws like the one you cite is ridiculous and demonstrates a serious misunderstanding of Constitutional law. You are no better than the muslims you oppose.

This is bull**** you know, or perhaps you don't.

Funny thing is, the Muslims are inadvertently correct about some of the aspects of this law - that it violates the separation of powers for instance.

In your zeal to fight off Muslim influence, you ironically support a law that is itself unconstitutional not to mention completely unnecessary.

This is the kind of stupid crap that happens when people act on ideology, ignorance and bigotry instead of an actual understanding of the law.

Because of scaremongering and the gullible people that contribute to it.

Who cares what CAIR wants.

The ACLU opposes the law because it is unconstitutional. They would ALSO oppose any attempt to codify Sharia, if there were any real threat thereof.

The Dutch don't have the legal system and Constitution that we do. Irrelevant.

This is NOT Congress' prerogative. Leave it to the courts.

It would be like the Jewish law which we already have. They settle money and divorce issues between two Jews according to Jewish law. Of course both parties have to agree to use the Jewish law as opposed to US law.
