GERMANTOWN, Md. — Montgomery County police are investigating a robbery of a 7-Eleven in Germantown by more than two dozen people.
Police say the so-called “flash mob robbery” happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.
The group of about 24 people entered the store, stole snacks, drinks and other items and left after about one minute.
Police have identified several of the suspects through surveillance video."
The video is far more telling of the degree of the looting and the perps involved, than the above barely detailed "article" presents. Also according to the store owner from other sources, the Police sat in their cruisers outside of the 7-11 and made no effort to arrest anyone, relying instead on the video camera to make arrests later. Imo - I wish the Police good luck with that considering all of the hoodies being worn, might aswell just tell the looters job well done and not even bother arresting people.
Btw, it is odd that these Flash mob incidents which are becoming ever more common are hardly ever reported on by the MSM...If it was White guys [instead of Black guys] looting stores and attacking people nationwide in massive mobs, maybe then it would be reported ? PC gone mad it looks like to me.
These are "flash robs", not "flash mobs".
These kids have discovered strength in numbers which is very dangerous.
Mob mentality at such a young age. This does not bode well for your future if not stopped.
Look, so the majority of these flash mobs/robs are currently being done by Black youth.
In the big picture though there is nothing to say it won't spread and be done by upper/middle class White youth.
These types of outbursts usually start at the lower end of the economic scale. This is a warning flag to us folks. Forget color for a moment and think about the economic health of the US and who is suffering more because of it. And I think it will get worse; I don't see a recovery at the end of this tunnel.
Did anyone notice between :50 - :52 a boy casually knocked a bag off the shelf and one of the girls walking behind him stopped to pick it up and put it back where it belonged. Some good kids are hanging out with the wrong element. Are these robberies practice for something more?

I agree that it is horrible regardless of the race of the offenders. It is just the same whether they are black, brown, yellow, or white. I also agree that any race is capable of these types of acts. At the same time, though, I think it is irresponsible reporting to exclude mentioning race when it is more than obvious that the acts are racially motivated.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but most other types of news stories begin with the words "Two white males", or "A black male", or "Three men of hispanic origin", ect...
Liberal media articles like to conveniently leave out details of race. Fortunately, videos don't.
Yeah,.. The tea party/republican way it would be reported would be fantastic. "A group of welfare recipients/gang members/"racial slur" walked in and robbed a 7/11. The towel head behind the counter pressed the emergency button,..etc"
