Arne Duncan, the Secretary of Education, told some real whoppers about Texas the other day in an attempt to make their governor look bad. He could have had some of the thousands of people who work for him in the Department do some reserch for him but he just threw all that Democrat crap out there trying to discredit the Governor. Well here is some of the answers that have been thrown back at him. It seems that the TEA, Texas Education Association must be supporting the governor and the system. I guess that will really chap the NEA.

Here are the words of the TEA head man about Duncan's lies that are purely political crap.

I am not a huge admirer of the previous administration, or the one before that one, either.

That said, this current group seems to have a particularly virulent form of Magical Thinking Disorder, in that making speeches trumps all other forms of behavior, and likely believing their incredibly brilliant words and phrases will have an actual effect on external event outcomes.

e.g., "This (Libya) will be over in a matter of days, not weeks."

"I will spend every wakeing hour working on jobs until every American who wants one will have a job."

I don't think facts actually exist in their minds. Words, as Elvis said, it's only words...

THEY surely do believe that their words will be accepted by all and even if not they will sway the thinking of many who don't agree. THEY don't think that anyone will ever look at what they say and want to know the real truth.
