Considering that the Libya war was sending oil prices through the roof, that added costs to families, businesses, and the government. The added tax revenue from more economic activity as a result of lower oil prices will be far higher than $1 billion. You're welcome for you early morning economics schooling.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Libya supplies 2% or the world's oil supply, mostly to Europe. It supplies NONE to the USA.
What about all the people that NATOs attacks are killing? The deaths and misery caused by the Iraq war was all we heard about for months from the MSM...they are strangely silent about this one. As is the usual chorus of "anti-war" posters here.
B..B...B...But there are no US casualties. We're just blowing up folks from the air for the "rebels" who are...............nobody has really said who these rebels are. Move on now nothing to see here other than "Obama's winning". Yeah.

Civilian deaths are low compared to Iraq. No US soldiers have died. I'm sorry that any civilians have died, but comparing the two doesn't really make sense.

Amen!
Oil rose immediately following our action in Libya. $2.89 to $3.69 in no time at all.
Thanks Obama.....for nothing.
Well, I am skinnier now due to very deep cuts in groceries bought (and I'm not being sarcastic and I was not fat to begin with either).
If America didn't have the love of the car, and driving shoved up our rear ends this would not be an issue.
Oil companies, the M.I.C. and the GOP work together to insure a few things:
1) Dependence on oil
2) No research into alternatives (i.e., the electric car)
There are plenty more, but these relate to Libya directly, as well as Iraq. Afghanistan is both of these, along with natural gas and its strategic location to their secret dream, Iran.

B...B....B...But we killed a million people in Iraq to get their oil and you cheered and waved your flag, now when a Democrat supports a grassroots resistance movement working to topple a dictator you whine like a little girl.
Nothing to see here, other than more rightwing hypocrisy and stupidity.

Nice way to throw environmentalists under the bus.
