Just curious.

I may define "swing state" different from you, but that does not matter. Do you *consider* your state a swing state?

No. Michigan hasn't gone GOP since 1988.

Yup

In fact, I live along the I-4 corridor, a key region in determining the presidential election.

I'm going to vote for Obama.

I've never seen a census poll counting swingers, though that would be interesting.

Romney could come out with a new boy toy, and Montana would still go Republican.

I detest the hemming and hawing over MI and PA in every election. They will vote Democratic. If they don't vote Democratic, the Democrat is gonna lose. It's all just a media tactic. Obviously these are Obama states and it's just stupid when these maps come out that say otherwise.

The hemming and hawing over WI, on the other hand, has become real. Obama is in trouble if he does not win there.

NH here, always has been a swing state. In 2000 Dubs won 51% to Gore 49%
In 04 Kerry won 51% to 49%

I used to live in a state so red that the only ads we saw connected to presidential election were the "voting is important" ones. Our primary was so late that it was a done deal too. We just moved to the blue section of Virginia, a state that is swinging high. We'll be throwing a couple of red votes into the mix.
