Define "normal". If by that you mean common, then no it's not (although I think it's more common than statistics would indicate, especially bisexuality).

But then again, being a Jew or black isn't common either, so are they not normal?

Agreed. 11 people so far see gay people as a threat to society. I hope they return as a gay person in another life (like I did). So many things to learn.

Need security? Um, probably from threats coming from you and your kind. Which makes me wonder why people post links to how gay people have 'attacked' Christians and such. Well, who made the first shot? It wasn't the gay community which has every right to retaliate and stand up for itself.

And you see every gay person as a threat. How come you didn't vote that way? Give us a break.

So you wish people who disagree with you to die, what a sad statement to make, it tells everything about you.

I was wondering the same thing.

I'm not referring to merely disagreement, nor any specific individuals. I'm referring to the generational attitude that needs to fade. Young generations tend to be more educated and progressive. Older generations favor ridiculous beliefs, and oppose things like gay marriage. I think society will be benefitted as the older generations become less influential, and the young generations take over. I'm not advocating physically killing off people who disagree with me.

Ridiculous beliefs?

Only in an upside down world gone stark raving mad would "gay" marriage ever enter public debate....as there simply IS no concept more ridiculous.

Two people in love is not ridiculous. Why should you or anyone else care who someone else loves and wants to marry. It should be none of your business. If you don't like gay marriage, then don't have one...but don't stop those who do.
