Barry was an ADULT. Now people know why many of us question how Barry was accepted into Harvard in the first place.
A-HEM! Hate to bring this up, but I know how Dubbyah got into Yale (Legacy). What I don't understand is how he got out with a degree. The guy can't string a four-word sentence together without making at least three serious grammatical errors.
Here's the letter from the original source if anybody cares to read it:
Record Retrospective: Obama on affirmative action - Election 2008 - The Harvard Law Record - Harvard University Law School (http://www.hlrecord.org/2.4475/record-retrospective-obama-on-affirmative-action-1.577511?pagereq=1 - broken link)
At issue are the superficial style flaws in Obama's letter written when he was President of the Harvard Law Review, specifically this sentence:
Quote:
"I would therefore agree with the suggestion that in the future, our concern in this area is most appropriately directed at any employer who would even insinuate that someone with Mr. Chen's extraordinary record of academic success might be somehow unqualified for work in a corporate law firm, or that such success might be somehow undeserved."
I wasn't able to find any writings from GW Bush (ok I didn't look very hard) but I did find some quotes. So as not to be too unfair, for comparison I chose a fairly simple sentence from Bush:
Quote:
"We want people owning their home -- we want people owning a businesses."
There has been plenty written by Sarah Palin, much of it short and tweet, for example this:
Quote:
"Ground Zero Mosque supporters: doesn't it stab you in the heart, as it does ours throughout the heartland? Peaceful Muslims, pls refudiate"
Ya think maybe Obama is being held to a different performance standard?
Yes, you're right. We need a hierarchy in this society that is based on one's ability to read and write syntactically. That would mean that most of the Republi-tards on this forum would be subjected to a life of permanent servitude.
You won't need that to put us in that condition. I have heard it said that Obama will declare martial law for two widely separated reasons by December 2012. That will put us in that condition forever, or at least as long as he is President Forever.
"On November 16, 1990, Barack Obama, then president of the Harvard Law Review, published a letter in the Harvard Law Record, an independent Harvard Law School newspaper, championing affirmative action."
"Although a paragraph from this letter was excerpted in David Remnick's biography of Obama, The Bridge, I had not seen the letter in its entirety before this week. Not surprisingly, it confirms everything I know about Barack Obama, the writer and thinker."
Does anyone remember when David Brooks of the NY Times said Bush should step aside and let Barry start governing?
Countdown until Obama leaves Office: 509 days as of August 29, 2011.
Does this thread mean DraggingKnuckles has finally given up on the "natural born citizen" baloney?
