Alot of states have shovel ready projects , but the $$$ they requested which would have put 10000s to work never got received. However with this Infastrature bank we could upgrade and employee alot. Theres about 60 Billion $ Shovel Reading projects in the Northeastern US still unfunded , all the Govt bs is cleared and all we need is the $$$. The 60 Billion $ in projects could easily generate 80,000 jobs and beef up the regional economy alot of these projects have great returns and are supported by alot of people. The US is the only recession country not investing in our Infastrature and its making us less competitive with the rest of the world. Japan and Australia are in alot of Debt yet have pledged and are spending a total of 200 Billion by 2030 on Infrastructure. Canada is spending 50 Billion by 2030 , and then you have the US backlogged by 90 Billion in Infastrature. Its time we start investing in Infrastructure or the recovery and stability of this country down the road will be worse. Alot of Small Businesses depend on Infrastructure , you would want to fail them.

The State of Missouri has an infrastructure bank where an increase in federal contributions would be most welcome. There are several projects in my office that, although they would not be ready tomorrow for the boots on the ground construction work, they would be ready for the a$$e$ in the seat detail design work.

The President has a terrible habit of assigning monikers to everything he touches. "Shovel Ready" assumes one thing.....projects are planned, approved, and waiting for funding. Apparently there weren't as many "shovel ready" projects as this ignorant government thought there was.

So why did they have to be "shovel ready" to begin with? Why couldn't he just state "this money is going towards our transportation and civil infrastructure" without having some idiotic moniker? The moniker itself and the attached stipulations immediately left out entire segments of the civil/transportation infrastructure market! Those markets that do the planning and engineering!! Coupled with the lack of "shovel ready" projects, we got absolutely nothing of measure from that ****ing moniker!

This guy is a bumbling fool if I've never seen one!

Thank you, at least one smart person knows he is a fool. Any more,Can start like a chain!
