"The president must be bold. I agree that he must have a jobs program, must create jobs," Waters said on NBC's "Meet the Press.
"I'm talking about a program of $1 trillion or more. We've got to put Americans to work. That's the only way to revitalize this economy. When people work and they earn money, they spend that money, and that is what gets the economy up and going."
Funny how elected officials not only want to spend all the money they have (and dont have) but they want us to do the same. How about...."we need jobs so Americans can save money and be financially secure for any emergencies that may come their way?"
Of course you would never hear THAT...go spend on a new iPad that you dont need, or a house you cant afford.
Maxine Waters is surely no economist, but she certainly is a socialist and that is the part that bothers me. She and some of her California buddies belong to the American Socialist Party, I am very sure.
Another numbskull that wants to repeat the same bad policy over and over again.
