perhaps because the speaker of the house is NOT commander in chief? and newt didnt impeach clinton, nor did he lead the investigation into clinton activities. newt did vote TO impeach clinton, but the job of protecting the country falls under the office of president, not speaker of the house. try taking a government class once and learn how government works, and teh responsibilities of the president and congress.

Why ask Newt Gingrich any questions at all? That just keeps his name in the media, where it no longer belongs.

Probably to deflect any attention away from Newt's extramarital affairs.

Default Good question

Newt, the ultimate racist neocon lunatic, doesn't belong in politics.

I'm still trying to figure out why he and the Republicans think they are electable when over the last 11 years, they have either wrecked the hell out of the economy or obstructed others from fixing the problems they created.

How can he and the Republicans criticize this President when their obstructions have prevented him from implementing solutions to a severely Bush/Republican-broken economy?

That dog won't hunt. Reid and Pelosi gave Obama everything he wanted in his first two years in office. He still made a hash of the economy and put us further in debt to boot.
