I really like the Paul family members in Congress. They are not ones to back down from a challenge.

Rand Paul for Senate majority leader in 2012!

Wow what an ass, you can almost see the puppet strings hanging off of Rand. "If you are in favor of jobs, you have to be in favor of the corporations"
The right got their 900 billion in more unneeded spending for the tax cuts to the rich extension and not one job was created by these so called "job creators" AKA the mega corporations. The REAL job creators are small business.
I hope Ron throws Rand over his knee and gives him a serious whooping for this fascist/corporatist talk

Agreed, Tempes. Here's a summary of what he said: don't question our corporate masters. We must give them everything they want or suffer the consequences. What a tool.

Your dear leader is a puppet for corporations whose investors are "bundlers" for him or advance his agenda (See Solyndra, Government Motors, Government Electric, Facebook, Google, etc...). If Obama would allow corporations to repatriate overseas earnings without significant tax penalties they would be greatly motivated to bring manufacturing back to the USA (see Apple)....that would mean JOBS!

Get it yet?

This is another example of how jobs can be created and exactly what Rand Paul was referencing:

House Passes Bill To Limit Labor Relations Board Authority | Fox News

Quote:
"It tells job creators they don't have to fear an activist NLRB reversing important decisions about where to locate a business," said Minnesota Rep. John Kline, chairman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
Perhaps you would like to explain why the NLRB should be allowed to tell a company where it can relocate AFTER it has already built a plant and begun hiring thousands of employees?

for the hundreth time (approximately) WHO did the bailouts?

WHO gave taxpayer money away?

WHO continues to give taxpayer money away?

WHO awarded those big banker bonuses, with the help of a taxpayer funded pay czar. (how ironic is that, anyhow?)

at least microsoft can't get at any money i don't want to give them. at least i have a choice in buying their product or not-unlike with the government, which gives us NO CHOICE because they MAKE THE RULES and we have to follow them. (unless you are an illegal immigrant or high level government worker, that is).

in life, almost everybody is a rent seeker-the poor want handouts, the middle class wants handouts, the rich want handouts. it is human nature-do you take a rebate if it is offered? (that's a handout). it is up to the government to control and limit handouts-only for the truly needy.

the point is that government should go back to believing in the concept of FREE ENTERPRISE. if a business fails, it fails. (too bad, so sad) you can be sure that a new business will spring up, better managed, to take its place.

the government is the entity engaging in bad behavior by bailing out their crony partners who fund their campaigns so they can win elections.

solyndra is a total example of what is going on in washington, and it is the tip of the iceberg. (and not just obama, either).

remember any "charity" you get isn't actually from the government-although they gladly take the credit and want their names on the legislation/stadiums that are build/whatever.

charity comes from the private sector, and watch what happens when you have a shrinking private sector. (on purpose)

Wow, it's like straight out of fox news Let's look at a few facts:
Corporate tax rates now are the lowest they've been in over 50 years
The democrats tried to pass legislation twice that would give even more tax breaks to the corporations that would keep jobs here, of course the republicans shot them down.
The mega corporations only care about one thing and that is maximum profit, which is achieved with the sweat shops in China, and what jobs can't be outsourced, they hire and are soft of illegals like corporate shill Perry.
There needs to be severe punishment for shipping jobs overseas while enacting tax breaks for those that stay here and an emphasis on small business who are the real job creators. Clinton proved this beyond any doubt with his booming economy and very low unemployment numbers.

More trying to bust unions and force them to work in unsafe conditions or in violation of labor laws, how republican

Again the right wingers got their "oh so precious" tax cuts to the rich extension adding a whopping 900 billion to the deficit which the republicans didn't create a single job with.
The right had their chance and have proven they are nothing but liars and scumbags only out to bankroll themselves and their corporate masters on taxpayer dime. It's time to let the real job creators get things going

You are aware that the extension of tax cuts for everybody besides the rich cost $3,000 billion, right?

Who are the real "job creators" in the eyes of Obama? Lets take a look...........

"A $38.6 billion loan guarantee program that the Obama administration promised would create or save 65,000 jobs has created just a few thousand jobs two years after it began, government records show.
The program — designed to jump-start the nation’s clean technology industry by giving energy companies access to low-cost, government-backed loans — has directly created 3,545 new, permanent jobs after giving out almost half the allocated amount, according to Energy Department tallies."

Obama green-tech program that backed Solyndra struggles to create jobs - The Washington Post

How much went to small business??????????? 600 million. Keep playing your fiddle.

And now we are experienceing the full blow-back of de-industrialization of the USA from Clinton signing NAFTA into law as well as other so called "fair trade" treaties that placed the US at a grave disadvantage.

"The measure, approved on a 238 to 186 vote, would ban the National Labor Relations Board from ordering any employer to shut down plants or relocate work, even if a company violates labor laws."

Why should the NLRB be allowed to shut down plants or relocate work from a corporation? Shouldn't the violation of laws be addressed in the judicial system while allowing employees to continue to work and bring home a paycheck?

More trying to bust unions and force them to work in unsafe conditions or in violation of labor laws, how republican

How do you jump to that conclusion when it comes to the NLRB actions against the new Boeing plant where an entirely new line of planes is to be manufactured? These are NEW jobs.

Again the right wingers got their "oh so precious" tax cuts to the rich extension adding a whopping 900 billion to the deficit which the republicans didn't create a single job with.

That has nothing to do with the thread topic and the NLRB/Boeing issue.

The right had their chance and have proven they are nothing but liars and scumbags only out to bankroll themselves and their corporate masters on taxpayer dime. Applies very well to Obama too since he has taken office; but, again, just an off topic deflection on your part. It's time to let the real job creators get things going
I suspect those being employed by Boeing feel as though they have "real" jobs. Name calling is the last resort when the facts are not on your side.
