After expenses, less than 200K, but fortunately my wife makes a very good income. I would never complain about how little I make when I know so many people who work much harder than I do who are struggling to get by. I would feel like a real turd. Apparently, the congressman does not have that problem.
Show me where he complained about anything, all he did was shut down the reporter who wasn't smart enough to understand that he didn't take home 6.3 million dollars a year. He never once said anything that sounded like a complaint, did you even watch the video?
This congressman pretty much owned every stupid liberal in the country before they even attacked him.
Who is attacking him for making money? Sorry trying to act like a victim again. Boo hoo. I don't care how much money that he makes, but don't try to make us feel sorry for you.
I have maybe $400,000 left over to invest in new locations, upgrade my locations, buy more equipment.
and perhaps hire more people??
maybe to hire students who can't well afford the tuition it takes to support tenured radical teachers who are doing the important work of naval gazing?

John Fleming (R-LA) used himself as an example Monday while arguing against President Barack Obama’s plan to make sure millionaires pay about the same tax rate as the people that work for them
LEARN TO READ, he said he has $400k left over to "invest in new locations, upgrade my locations, buy more equipment.” A family living on $200K a year is pretty reasonable, wouldn't you agree? Of course you wouldn't, you just want to attack this guy some more.
I want to rep you 400,000 times, but that would make me a blood-sucking republican!!!!
Anyway, as a former reading teacher, you get 100% on comprehension.

You are just trying to twist the facts around. I did not see anything about him wanting anyone to feel sorry for him. This is liberal garbage.
If he needs money he could always get a government loan for a few hundred million dollars and then default on it. All he'd have to do is put up a solar panel or a windmill on his restaurants.
I'm no fan of the Tea party, but this guy doesn't seem to be complaining to me. He makes his money, he creates and supports jobs. The real question that should be posed here is will increasing his taxes make people like him hesitant to invest in additional profitable ventures that could employee even more individuals?
And the flip side is how much does he rely on the infrastructure provided by the government, funded by taxes, to realize the revenues he currently enjoys? I'm talking about the schools that educate his employees, the fire departments that put out his fires, and the police presence that may deter crime at his places of business, the courts that prosecute his employees if they steal from him.
These are the difficult questions that must be asked and what the insane hyper-partisanship existent among us today never shuts up long enough to truly think about. There are multiple aspects to every story.
