You just need to ask them to turn it off, or disable it yourself.

I can take care of that!
I charge $300 to disable the power supply for the On-Star.

Or, just take out the fuse then immediately sign up for in dealing with irrational paranoia.

It does not have a fuse in the fuse box. It has a circuit breaker "plug" under the hood. Bad part is, it is shared with the ECU"computer"

Pull the plug and the vehicle doesn't run.

So that price break-down is 50 cents to pull the plug and $299.50 for knowing where and which plug to pull?

It may be minor to you, but it's death by a thousand paper cuts.

My wife has a 2004 Montana that has OnStar although we never subscribed when we bought the car new. I've gotten rid of all my GM vehicles but the Montana will be the last GM in my family. I doubt the OnStar in the Montana even works because very few of the electronics on that minivan ever did work.
