Firing 3 million government employees will create 6 million private sector jobs (employment, wages)

Well, couple of days ago a couple of "conservatives" were claiming that the USA saw full employment under Bush, at the same time that government jobs grew at unprecedented levels. So, clearly, with that "reality" in mind, the "conservative" answer must be "False". And yet this liberal/progressive has it "False" as well.
Actually I assume that government workers are not more productive and efficient but cost more than private sector workers.
I see, but saving $ on government workers would not be a direct 100% transfer of those savings to the private sector. Also, the private sector is having a hard time finding the skill sets they need to hire...not that I'm against trying to reduce the number of government employees though. Just kinda thinking through it out loud.

If we've learned anything, it's that the truism that when profits go up companies hire more people is false - likewise, cutting taxes won't cause companies to hire more people.

I think paying their workers slave wages with no benefits is how they keep labor costs so low.

Now that I'm doing the same thing myself something else occurred to me. We could get rid of a lot of state level bureacrats where I have my small business and I guarantee you that there would be more jobs. They are only there to harass small businesses - get rid of them and we would be more inclined to stay in-state and also hire.
Are we using the tax salaries previously taken up by those people to deregulate?
What did those government employees do? Were they soldiers or DMV workers?
How long are you giving us to create the new jobs?
What an inane question....How on earth can we answer this with any semblance of intelligence?
