That the Government Information Service said Tuesday. The surgery went well and the princess returns expected in the near future back to the Netherlands.

How many Americans get surgery in The Netherlands....? NONE, unless they live there and have no other option, but out of free will traveling from the USA to The netherlands for surgery....? Nobody in their right mind.
That is one of the reasons we don't want Obamacare....
I'm sure she will remember to send a thank you letter to her insurance company. Any chance of you knowing the name of that company? One of my relatives could use their service as his current insurance provider has refused to cover for a surgery with the convenience of calling it only a "cosmetic surgery". They're exploring options in India.
The anti-HC people don't get it. They do not want to understand that it's not the quality of American health professionals that is inferior, but that healthcare in America is not available to all, least of all to those with limited finances.
How many Americans have the money for a round trip flight to Holland?

What is your relative's health issue? We really can't judge the cruelty of our system without this important info.
Actually, far more Americans travel overseas for medical treatment than foreigners come here. A forecast by Deloitte Consulting published in August 2008 estimated that 750,000 Americans went abroad for health care in 2007, and the report estimated that a million and a half would seek health care outside the US in 2008.
In contrast, only 60,000 to 85,000 medical tourists were traveling to the United States for the purpose of receiving in-patient medical care each year.

You can't go bringing facts into a discussion about health care

That is complete B.S. ....how many wealthy Americans will travel outside the USA for surgeries? Same amount as the poor or middle class...hardly any one!
Some people will travel to South America for cheap plastic surgery, but not for other stuff.
The left will only come up will excuses instead of facing the real issues.
Over here most people with no insurance don't want to pay for it. One employee who works for me doesn't want to pay for health insurance and sometimes complains about it but when I explain how much I pay for my family and still have $ 6,000.- deductable, she is way cheaper off with the few times she is paying for it, since I have to pay out of pocket also since I never get above the deductable...the only difference is that in case of something real bad I'm covered and she isn't but she is going to the County for cheap mammograms and a lot of free care. She also works as a independent contractor as well as a full time employee and that is why I know how much she really makes a year since for both she is working for us.
She is single lives together with her BF and has an adult child who lives with her and so is that childs BF and grand child....they receive food stamps, don't disclose all the people living at the same address and get medication through a family member who has health care...which to me is fraud, and mostly the reason why she keeps every dime in her pocket and is not paying the $ 200.--$ 300.- a month or less to get insurance for herself....it is not that she can't afford it, but it is her choice! She goes for many trips during the weekends and is staying in not too expensive hotels, goes out for dinner every week, but doesn't want to give that up for health ins....something we don't do but we feel we are responsible for our kids and ourself to pay for healtcare!
All the illegals shouldn't even be counted towards not being ins. since they don't belong here....we came here the legal way and always had health care ins.
Honestly the person is really rich. So they can afford the best healthcare in the world. Now that doesn't mean that the system they have is not any good. Its the surgeons and they want the best one. So they have to go where the surgeons are paid millions a year for being really good. That is why she came here. Again its not that the surgeons are bad over there its just the best and greediest ones are all here. If you can afford it, then yes we have the best health care in the world. If not, its one of the worse in the world. Huge inequality that will always be.
