While a special report commends Texas for the military-type campaign it has been waging against Mexican narco-terrorists, it also points to a lesson already learned: The state faces a lethal, elusive, creative, ruthless, well-armed and superbly financed enemy who is trying to learn and adapt at a faster pace than its American enemy. The report also warns of the drug cartels’ intent to move operations into Texas border citie (http://www.brownsvilleherald.com/articles/report-131720-drug-enemy.html - broken link)

When will they secure the border? When America turns into a narco state like Mexico?

Even though I'm a Libertarian, I'm considered a "Liberal" by most and I disagree with your third-grade rant.

Bring troops home and use them to secure the borders while we end Prohibition in America! Then invade if we must. It's been out of control and it's not the border states war to fight alone.

That's great news!
They will have to rent offices and hire people, like receptionists, accountants, drivers, order clerks, stock people, salesmen, etc.
America needs the jobs.

I don't do them, but legalizing drugs would be the best solution for the freedom loving constitution respecting taxpayer.

And no need to militarize the border, if our own government would just stop giving **** away and inviting criminal behaviour in the process.

I am all for legalizing drugs. I don't do them too. At least it would stop the criminal trade behind it.
Mexico even considered legalizing it.

Great another big government solution.
No taxation, the government has enough revenue streams to abuse already.
I'll bet you would have loved E. Berlin when the Soviets ran it.
