Let me take a stab at answering that question. As soon as Obama has finished redistributing the wealth to his enviro and union buddies?

People need jobs now and Obama is ready to get that done.
Not what I asked you

How many of these stimulus are we suppose to pass?
How many trillions are we to spend on these stimulus?

We were told the last stimulus was going to solve our problems and get Americans back to work. Well it didnt work, we are deeper in debt, unemployment still high. So exactly why should we go down this road AGAIN?

Obviously the left doesnt care about Americans getting jobs again because their only answer is these stimulus that are short term fixes. Well the American people are waking up and want the real issues addressed and enough with these stimulus's. The left doesnt want to address our long term future and solving problems. Just short term fixes to try and help themselves during elections.

BE REAL

Also it is the democrats and Reid and Durbin saying THEY Dont have the votes to pass Obamas job bill. Yet all you wanna do is blame republicans. Open your eyes if that is possible

But, wasn't the country supposed to get back on track with the first stimulus, obamacare, financial reform, cash4clunkers and all the other legislative victories obama enjoyed when he had 60 votes in the Senate and a huge majority in the House?

Since we KNOW all those programs failed miserably, why should we repeat the same mistake?

I know most on the Left don't like to pay attention to the news, but have you heard the Senate democrats are not willing to vote for his "jobs" bill?

The right did this? Really....I believe that Drain the Swamp pelosi....started something called PAY AS YOU GO.....you are familiar with that right?

This is really hilarious....this shows how the left thinks...they have no other recourse, the RIGHT has been in charge for the last 4 years in congress (notice how I said CONGRESS and not left or right)....the right has been doing the spending...cause they have been in charge...

Wow, no wonder the left is so desperate these days....

The dems are not passing the bill in the senate. The democrats don't have enough votes to pass it.. the dems are holding it up!

you are posting a lot of smoke and mirrors and conjecture here. for instance;

what 900 billion in new unpaid spending are you talking about? the last i heard was the republicans trying to CUT the budget.

and why isnt harry reid putting the bill up for a vote in the senate? or even up for debate in the senate? reid is the one that tabled the bill, NOT bohner.

and when was the right in control of congress last? oh thats right 2006. the republicans took back the house in 2010, and they have passed a number of bills, VIRTUALLY ALL OF WHICH WERE TABLED BY HARRY REID.

you keep wanting to blame the republicans, but they are not the ones blocking everything now, it is the democrats.

I would like to see evidence and facts that Keynesian economics (a.k.a government spending during a recession or depression) helps to create jobs, reduces the deficit, and provides a path for long-term prosperity.... I do not care about Dem v. Repub or who's tabling what or who's in charge. I want to hear from the geniuses on this board that know so much about Keynesian economics and whether or not it got us out of the 1930s Great Depression AND can work today. This is all VERY relevant to the effectiveness (or lack thereof) if Obama's jobs bill passes.

Also, can someone please answer this other question: How does inflating the dollar help the average American consumer? This relates to the Federal Reserve.

I'm no economics expert.

WWII got us out of the Great Depression, not FDRs programs.
Inflating the dollar helps the Fed because it keeps interest rates low so they can borrow/print more.
