It does matter. The protests going on today would not happen if Obama was not in office.

We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. … It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.

Look at the pattern in what is taking place around us.

The Occupy Wall St. protests going on right now has Soros & Company written all over it. Just like how the Kochs and Fox News add fuel to the tea party protests, this mass protest is backed up by MSNBC, Michael Moore, and you know Soros isn't far behind with two prominent liberal organization, and person, respectively, behind it

The radical progressive liberals know their time is limited in Washington. The last election proved that. The anger that motivated the voters has increased since last November and now the moderates and even traditional democrats are very unhappy.
And Obama only serves as long as Soros wants him to. I imagine Soros is quite happy with all the regime changes Obama has achieved, and the resulting chaos in the ME and Africa. Obama has put millions on the dole, - that is to burden the system to the extent that it collapses. Soros saw the U.S. as the main impediment to his goals, now he has a partner in destroying what capitalistic system still remains. True capitalism is the opposite of corporatism. Fascism is the opposite of liberty.

Fascism replaces a religion based on a supreme being (God) with a religion based on a supreme State. So does communism as a matter of fact. The new God becomes the will of the people as interpreted and enforced by the State's elite for the people's benefit. Hence the development of the nanny-state political philosophy is a direct descendent of Fascism and features many of its evils. Bill O'Reilly has coined the name "Secular-Progressive" to describe thie political philosophy, although I wonder if he realized the historical accuracy of his term. The missing part is the militarism and genocide associated today with Fascism, which were outgrowths of the core ideas of Fascism and may well yet develop in the nanny state. After all, what would there be to stop such a development? It should be remembered that one of Hitler's early steps was to introduce full gun control in Germany to reduce any possibility of internal resistance to his regime.
