Finally, a voice of reason in this sea of faux outrage.

I agree with some of his statements but the Hitler quote is plain ignorant and makes him look stupid.
About his looks, read an excerpt of the link below and ask yourself how good you would look.

Just as his career was starting to see a revival, tragedy struck Hank Williams Jr. once again. While he was climbing Ajax Mountain in Montana on August 8, 1975, he fell 442 feet down the side of the mountain. His injuries were serious—his skull was split and his face was crushed—but he survived. Following extensive reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, he had to learn how to speak and sing all over again.

Oops, doing this from my phone and it showed the mobile link address.

Difference is in the Dixie Chicks, it was country music fans demanding radio stations stop playing their music and country music fans stopped buying their albums. In this case, a corporation made a knee jerk reaction to an analogy of two enemies playing golf together and reading an insult to a liberal president where there was none.

I'm sure he'll have no problem landing a reality TV show now.

I'd tell ESPN where to stick it if I were him.
Good, then let him stumble back to his double-wide in whatever "millionaire" redneck trailer park that he wandered out of.

If you really knew what it was all about, it was the same owners of the AM hate radio programs spread all across the country that generated a controversy where there was none. The Dixie Chicks said they didn't like Bush, neither did half of the country and the rest of the world. The rightwing conglomerate that owns radio saw an opportunity to get their rabid listeners to shout down that talented group, boycott them, and send a warning to anyone else who spoke out.

Your boy Hank Williams compared Pres. Obama to Hitler.

1. Country music fans demanded Dixie Chicks music stopped being played.
2. Country music fans stopped buying Dixie Chicks music.
3. Hank Williams Jr. Did not compare Obama to Hitler. He made an analogy of Obama and the Speaker of the House golfing together as being like Hitler and the president of Israel golfing together because they are such enemies.
4. I haven't been a fan of country music since the late 1970s when I switched over to rock and metal. HW Jr. is not my man.

Agree, but this isn't one of those cases. This is another case of faux outrage over nothing. He did not compare Obama to hitler.

Country music stations quit playing their music, which led to country music fans not purchasing their music.

Had the media conglomerate that owns most of these stations along with the AM stations that host hate radio shows not made something out of nothing, the "controversy" would have never happened, especially considering they said they didnt like Bush while in London. No one would have known, or cared.

Either way, who really cares what Hank Williams thinks besides the morons interviewing him on FOX and the morons who watch that program
