Remember how great it was being a kid, no responsibilities, worries, or problems. U could be lazy as you wanted, nothing but happiness, right? Sucks being an adult, have to do everything, take personal responsibility for your own actions, run, run, run. Never have time to relax. But the one big advantage to being an adult? Nobody can tell me when night-night time is. Socialism/Norway is the former, Capitalism/America is the latter. Happiness=mediocrity. Liberal friends, it's time to stop acting like kids.

If you're in my situation (which I doubt) all you need is an EEA permit which is issued on demand.

On the other hand, I believe Norway has no immigration rules for moving to Svalbard, but you can't move to Norway proper

Not sure what that is. A techincal skill you have that they need? No I don't have that but I have looked into an investors visa for the EU and you need about 1 Million Dollars ...liquid.
